Description

Delicious and crispy samosas filled with a spiced potato and pea mixture, cooked to perfection in an air fryer.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 4 tablespoons oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 large potatoes, boiled and mashed
  • 1/2 cup green peas, cooked
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil spray for cooking

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix flour, oil, and salt.
  2. Add water gradually to form a dough.
  3. Cover the dough and let it rest for 30 minutes.
  4. In another bowl, combine mashed potatoes, peas, cumin, garam masala, turmeric, and salt.
  5. Divide the dough into small balls and roll each into a thin circle.
  6. Cut the circle in half and form a cone.
  7. Fill the cone with the potato mixture and seal the edges.
  8. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  9. Spray the samosas with oil and place them in the air fryer basket.
  10. Cook for 15-20 minutes until golden brown, flipping halfway through.

Notes

  • Make sure to seal the edges properly to avoid openings while cooking.
