Ingredients

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C). Grease and flour a loaf or bundt pan.
- Whisk flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt together.
- Cream butter and sugars until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla.
- Alternate adding dry ingredients and buttermilk, mixing gently.
- Stir in hot coffee or water until smooth.
- Pour batter into pan and bake 60–70 minutes.
- Cool before slicing and serving.
Notes
- For added richness, you can use chocolate milk instead of buttermilk.
- Ensure all ingredients are at room temperature before starting.
