Description

A delicious layered dessert featuring rich brownies, cream cheese filling, and salted caramel.


Ingredients

  • 2 boxes brownie mix, prepared according to package directions
  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 2 cups whipped topping
  • 1 cup salted caramel sauce
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1/2 cup chocolate shavings
  • 2 tbsp mini chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Bake the brownies according to package directions and let them cool completely.
  2. Cut the cooled brownies into bite-size cubes.
  3. Beat the softened cream cheese until smooth.
  4. Add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, then mix until creamy.
  5. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form.
  6. Fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until light and fluffy.
  7. Add a layer of brownie cubes to the bottom of a trifle dish.
  8. Spoon a layer of cheesecake filling over the brownies.
  9. Add a layer of whipped topping and drizzle with salted caramel sauce.
  10. Repeat the layers until the dish is full, finishing with whipped topping on top.
  11. Drizzle extra salted caramel over the top.
  12. Sprinkle with sea salt, chocolate shavings, and mini chocolate chips.
  13. Chill the trifle for at least 2 hours before serving.
