Description

This roasted cauliflower dish is seasoned with a flavorful glaze made from olive oil, lemon, and spices, making it a delicious and healthy side.


Ingredients

  • 1 head cauliflower
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon nutritional yeast
  • 0 teaspoons salt
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cut the cauliflower into bite-sized florets and place them in a large mixing bowl.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, lemon zest, black pepper, garlic powder, maple syrup, nutritional yeast, and salt until smooth.
  4. Pour the glaze over the cauliflower florets and toss well to ensure each piece is evenly coated.
  5. Spread the glazed cauliflower in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Roast in the oven for 20 minutes, then flip the florets and roast for an additional 10–15 minutes until golden brown and tender.
  7. Remove the cauliflower from the oven and transfer to a serving platter.
  8. Sprinkle the chopped fresh parsley over the top and serve immediately.
