Description

This crispy air fryer chicken is coated in a flavorful gluten-free flour mixture, making it a delicious and easy meal option.


Ingredients

  • 4 cups 1:1 gluten-free flour (or all-purpose flour)
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 Tablespoon smoked paprika
  • 1 Tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 Tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 Tablespoon dried oregano (or marjoram)
  • 4 large eggs
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 2 1/2 lbs chicken breasts, thighs, and legs (bone-in and skin-on)
  • oil spray

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine 4 cups 1:1 gluten-free flour, 2 teaspoons salt, 1 teaspoon ground black pepper, 1 Tablespoon smoked paprika, 1 Tablespoon garlic powder, 1 Tablespoon onion powder, and 1 Tablespoon dried oregano, and whisk together.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together 4 large eggs and 3/4 cup milk.
  3. Dip each piece of the 2 1/2 lbs chicken breasts, thighs, and legs in the egg mixture, and then the flour mixture, coating well. Repeat the dipping process.
  4. Once all the chicken is coated, spray your air fryer cooking basket with oil spray and preheat to 350°F.
  5. Lightly spray 2-3 pieces of chicken with the oil spray and place in the air fryer basket. Do not overcrowd.
  6. Cook for 8-10 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature of each piece is 165°F, then serve and enjoy!
