Description
Delicious Bang Bang Chicken made in the air fryer, coated with a creamy and spicy sauce.
Ingredients
Scale
- 3 chicken breasts
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon seasoned salt
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup sweet chili sauce
- 2 tablespoons chili garlic sauce or Sriracha
Instructions
- Score the chicken breasts with 1-inch deep cuts spaced 1/2-inch apart, creating a cross-hatch pattern.
- Combine all the spices (garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, seasoned salt) and use this mixture to season both sides of the chicken breasts.
- Make the bang bang sauce – Combine and mix together the mayo, sweet chili sauce, and chili garlic sauce or sriracha. Pour this sauce over the raw chicken equally. Optional: set aside about ½ of the sauce to drizzle over the dish when serving or to use as additional sauce for the rice.
- Place the chicken breasts in the air fryer basket then air fry at 390° for about 20-30 minutes depending on the size of the chicken breasts or until the internal temperature hits 165 degrees.
- Allow chicken to rest for approximately 10 minutes after cooking.
Notes
- Serve with white rice and cilantro.
- Extra sauce can be used as a drizzle over the dish.
