Description
Delicious air-fried churro bites rolled in cinnamon sugar.
Ingredients

- 1 cup whole wheat flour or all-purpose flour
- 1½ teaspoons baking powder
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons coconut sugar or granulated sugar (plus more for coating)
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon (plus more for coating)
- ½ cup unsweetened almond milk (or milk of choice)
- 2 tablespoons melted coconut oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Cooking spray (for air fryer)
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, combine almond milk, melted coconut oil, vanilla, and 1 tablespoon sugar.
- Mix wet and dry ingredients to form a soft dough. If sticky, add a bit more flour.
- Roll dough into 20 bite-sized balls.
- Preheat air fryer to 350°F (175°C) and spray basket lightly with cooking spray.
- Place dough balls in the basket in a single layer. Air fry for 8–10 minutes, shaking halfway through.
- While warm, toss churro bites in a cinnamon-sugar mixture made with remaining sugar and cinnamon.
- Serve warm, with optional dipping sauces like chocolate or caramel.
