Description
A classic Reuben sandwich made with corned beef, sauerkraut, Swiss cheese, and Thousand Island dressing on marbled rye bread.

- 4 slices marbled rye bread
- 8 oz high-quality corned beef, sliced
- 1 cup sauerkraut, drained
- 4 slices Swiss cheese
- 4 tbsp Thousand Island dressing
- 2 tbsp butter, softened
Instructions
- Gather all ingredients on the counter for easy access.
- Lay out two slices of rye bread. Spread 2 tablespoons of Thousand Island dressing on one slice.
- Layer with half of the corned beef, followed by half the sauerkraut and two slices of Swiss cheese. Top with another slice of rye bread.
- Spread softened butter evenly on both outer sides of the sandwich.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and grill the sandwich for about 4-5 minutes until golden brown; flip carefully using a spatula.
- Press down gently to ensure even cooking while the cheese melts. Remove from heat once both sides are crispy and cheese has melted.
- Slice in half diagonally and serve hot with extra dressing on the side.
