Mint Oreo Cream Pie

Description

A delicious Mint Oreo Cream Pie filled with creamy layers and topped with Cool Whip.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup Cool Whip
  • 5 mint Oreos
  • 3 oz vanilla instant pudding mix
  • 1 cup milk
  • 10 mint Oreo cookies
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1/2 teaspoon mint extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon green gel food colouring (you may need to use more depending on the type of food colouring you are using)
  • 1 cup Cool Whip
  • 1 Oreo Pie crust

Instructions

  1. Pour the pudding mix and milk into a large mixing bowl and combine with an electric mixer until a thick, smooth mixture forms.
  2. Place the 10 mint Oreos in a large Ziploc bag and crush them with a heavy bottomed pot.
  3. Add the crushed Oreos to the bowl with the pudding mixture.
  4. Pour the white chocolate chips into a microwave safe bowl.
  5. Micro wave the chocolate chips on High for 1 minute and then stir until melted.
  6. Add the melted white chocolate to the bowl with the pudding mixture.
  7. Add the mint extract and green food colouring to the bowl as well.
  8. Mix with the electric mixer until all of the ingredients are fully combined.
  9. Add 1 cup of Cool Whip to the bowl.
  10. Use a rubber spatula to fold the Cool Whip into the pudding mixture.
  11. Pour the mixture into the pie crust and spread it out evenly.
  12. Spread 1 cup of Cool Whip on top of the pie.
  13. Crush 5 more mint Oreos and sprinkle them on top of the Cool Whip.
  14. Place the pie in the refrigerator and leave it for at least 2 hours to chill.
  15. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

  • This pie needs to chill for a minimum of 2 hours for best results.
  • Additional mint Oreos can be added for garnish.
