- 1 tbsp Coriander
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- 4 cloves Minced Garlic
- 2 tbsp Lemon Juice
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Pepper
- 1/2 cup Mayo
- 1 cup Fresh Veggies (Choose favorites like lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers.)
- 4 pieces Pita Bread (Whole-wheat options add fiber.)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk together olive oil or Greek yogurt, cumin, paprika, turmeric, coriander, cinnamon, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Toss chicken strips in the marinade, ensuring they are fully coated. Cover and chill for at least 30 minutes, preferably overnight.
- Preheat your grill or a heavy skillet over medium-high heat, adding a drizzle of oil if using a skillet.
- Sear the marinated chicken strips for 5–7 minutes per side until golden brown and they reach an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
- While the chicken cooks, whisk together mayo, minced garlic, lemon juice, and salt in a separate bowl.
- Once cooked, let the chicken rest for a few minutes before slicing it into bite-sized pieces. Serve in warmed pita bread with garlic sauce and fresh veggies.

- For a tangy flavor, Greek yogurt can be used instead of olive oil.
- Chilling the chicken in marinade overnight enhances the flavor.
