  • 1/2 cup Mayo
  • 1 cup Fresh Veggies (Choose favorites like lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers.)
  • 4 pieces Pita Bread (Whole-wheat options add fiber.)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together olive oil or Greek yogurt, cumin, paprika, turmeric, coriander, cinnamon, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  2. Toss chicken strips in the marinade, ensuring they are fully coated. Cover and chill for at least 30 minutes, preferably overnight.
  3. Preheat your grill or a heavy skillet over medium-high heat, adding a drizzle of oil if using a skillet.
  4. Sear the marinated chicken strips for 5–7 minutes per side until golden brown and they reach an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
  5. While the chicken cooks, whisk together mayo, minced garlic, lemon juice, and salt in a separate bowl.
  6. Once cooked, let the chicken rest for a few minutes before slicing it into bite-sized pieces. Serve in warmed pita bread with garlic sauce and fresh veggies.
